Welcome to Elboya, a neighbourhood with green spaces, winding roads and filled with luxury homes. The geography is one of the things that makes Elboya feel different. The community sits above the Elbow River valley, with a slightly steep drop down toward 42nd Avenue. Some of the roads follow the slope so closely that they can feel a little dramatic, especially when the streets are covered in ice. Winter driving here is not for the faint of heart. But have no fear, there are a few other roads out of the neighbourhood that are much safer.

Elboya has easy access to Elbow Drive and Macleod Trail, with Britannia across the way and Stanley Park within walking distance. The Elboya School is located right in the community and if you are moving to the area, check directly with the school or CBE to confirm the current designated school and program options for your address.

Elboya and Britannia share a community association, and you can find out more about both communities here: Elboya Britannia Community Association. The community association revitalized Elboya Park, located at 46 Ave & 4a St SW.

Driven by passionate neighborhood volunteers in partnership with Parks Foundation Calgary and The City of Calgary, the project transformed a standard neighborhood green space into a custom, nature-integrated destination. To elevate the design beyond standard city guidelines, the community raised private funds to incorporate custom landscaping, rolling grassy hills, large climbing boulders, and a social seating area featuring Adirondack chairs. The commemorative donor plaques laid along the winding pathway stand as a permanent thank-you to the local families and businesses whose extra financial contributions made this upscale park possible.
