Calgary's largest fenced off-leash area, Sue Higgins Park sits along the banks of the Bow River in the city's southeast. The park covers 62 hectares of river banks, and inland marshes with plenty of room for your dogs to roam. Residents of Riverview can easily walk over via the Eric Harvie pedestrian bridge by the Carburn Park gazebo. Located just off the Southland Drive off ramp, it is an easy drive with plenty of parking. Note of caution: Keep an eye on your pup near the river, the Bow current can be strong depending on rainfall and the season.
